The Indianapolis Children’s Choir Summer Festival is an affordable day camp experience that is engaging, fun, educational and unique bringing together boys and girls who have a desire and passion for music. Participants must have completed grade three by spring of 2008. The ICC SUMMER FESTIVAL reinforces the ICC mission to inspire artistic and musical excellence and quality, and at the same time, reinforce every child’s sense of self esteem, pride, accomplishment, responsibility, and respect for others. The ICC believes that Festival participants take these important qualities home with them and apply them to their activities in school, places of worship, athletic teams and other opportunities they have in their neighborhoods and communities. The INDIANAPOLIS CHILDREN’S CHOIR is committed to working closely with teachers and music education professionals to create top quality experiences that will be complimentary to the great work being done with young people in schools and other music education settings in Central Indiana and beyond. Countless numbers of young people and families have begun their dedicated, and sometimes life changing, relationships with the INDIANAPOLIS CHILDREN’S CHOIR through participation in the ICC SUMMER FESTIVAL. The week-long day camp provides a great introduction to one of the country’s finest and most respected organizations Admission to the Choral Festival is contingent upon your school music teacher’s recommendation (by signature) OR a brief audition in the office of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir.
